Not really. That looks like a chocolate cake, and that is dangerous for dogs. The Dears really should move that out of temptation’s way.

Rules for Thee, but not for me! But in this case, it is also because that cake will be very bad for you, Fred.

Chocolate is toxic for dogs and cats. But Fred eats choc drops which probably taste a little like chocolate but contain no chocolate.

As MikeJ says, it takes a lot of chocolate to be dangerous to dogs. Had a goldie mix that ate an entire 2 lb bag of bittersweet morsels that my then GF had left out. Might have killed a few brain cells, but with a goldie how would you know? Nuggett lived another nine years.

Fred, it’s best if you don’t have any ….. now if it was white or yellow cake with peanut butter frosting ……. that might be a different story …………. :)
