Those darn birds can mimic just about anything. Don’t feel badly, Fred. You aren’t the only one that’s been fooled.

When I was a young girl, there was a grey parrot a few houses away. They’d put its cage out sometimes for fresh air and it’d swear like crazy.

Fred you’re always a good boy, even if it was a parrot. Fool you once shame on me, fool me twice shame on you.

Practice never hurts Fred !

We had a Myna that “Wolf” whistle when someone walked by, (he had been taught by a former owner) and our neighbors sister thought it was my husband whistling at her!

And just yesterday, “master” was calling at top of his lungs and Fred could not have cared less

“Sir?!?!”

It’s alright, Fred …………… one of these times it “WILL” be your Master’s ……. whistle …… ;)

Cut him a little slack, Fred. He’s a highly intelligent flock member, who belongs in treetops, stuck in that little cage. He could live for many more years like that.
