My friends’ basset was known for snapping at, and catching, flies. They were one of the few things he chewed.

Yes. Thanks to you it will live to buzz and annoy another day. Hopefully away from frogs and toads and people with fly swatters and bug spray.

Had a beagle-basset mix back in the day. He would clear off the coffee table with his tail. His other talent was leaving five tracks in the snow.
