She didn’t mean it Fred, she just misspoke…everyone loves your smile!

Really????

What can I say? Some people just don’t get it, but at least they want to take pics of you. They love you.

Is this back in the days with film cameras where it wasn’t practical to take 20 pictures? These days, people wouldn’t say “wait.” They would say “Try again.”

Tsk. It’s a lot of work for a basset to smile, lifting all those lips.

Don’t listen to them and never lose that smile, Fred!

Certainly no chock-drop for Mrs. Dear today! Try again, Mrs. Dear!

She wants him to look fierce, which is difficult for a Basset

Get a Samoyed, they always have a smile. Granted, it turns out it prevents drooling in the freezing weather, but that smile is wonderful to see.

Why would they prefer Fred look “fierce” – he’s a perfectly fine dog as he is!

Interesting. This time it’s Mrs. Dear who is being a bit too impatient/picky here. (Not sure what the right word is. )

Found an old pic taken of the entire family outside in backyard and even our dog posed in the background. It is funny.

Hounds are pretty “lippy” however you use it.
