Ah, Fred! You might not be a hard core snob, but you definitely have some snob tendencies. Short pedigree, long pedigree, no pedigree – who cares? Same with people – royalty, no royalty, rich or poor. It’s character that counts. He looks like a very nice sort. You did good making him a friend.

My first thought was that this “snob’s” friend would be a very sad looking version of Taffy. As nice as Spud looks, I am glad it is not Taffy. I would not like her to be sad. She is/ was or will be always so happy and vibrant.
