What immediately what popped into my head after butcher, baker was candlestick maker, but, yeah, the pub for a drink before the market makes more sense.

Maybe a sausage for you Fred?

Fred, of course, gets a treat in the pub, hence the upright tail.

I was expecting a visit to the candlestick maker.

… and the dish ran away with the spoon!

I am with Mr. Dear on this! No alc for me though. Sometimes I take a break after my first stop at the organic shop. On the other side of the street there is a fenced in area with a small herd of Wisent (European Buffalo). I like to either sit there in the car and have breakfast or take a short walk to the animals. Then head to the second part of the grocery fetching tour- the longish row of supermarkets (which I hate). It would be nice to have a comforting companion like Fred for the shopping tour hassle.
