runar - It maybe that the laser technology gets the most use for amusement, but my husband’s workplace uses lasers for more serious applications. Nothing wrong with finding all sorts of applications for new technology, though.
Back in the ’60s one engineer called lasers “solutions screaming for problems to solve”. I wonder how many people remember that LASER is actually an acronym?
