Why not go high tech and use a laser pointer to create the magic spot of light?

Lewreader: Please remember the warning label on those lasers: “Caution: Do NOT look directly into laser with remaining eye.”

runar - It maybe that the laser technology gets the most use for amusement, but my husband’s workplace uses lasers for more serious applications. Nothing wrong with finding all sorts of applications for new technology, though.

Back in the ’60s one engineer called lasers “solutions screaming for problems to solve”. I wonder how many people remember that LASER is actually an acronym?
