It has to be accounted for as an act of the gods, in this case Pluto (Πλούτων), Roman god of the underworld and inventor of the Lava Lamp.

You can sue anyone or thing for anything; winning’s the hard part. Still can’t believe that one worker was awarded from the manufaturer 1 1/2 mil for a table saw accident. It was the boss who removed the blade guard. GET REAL PEEEEEPUL.

Πλούτων: the Greek name Pluton, an alternate name for Hades, the Greek ruler of the underworld. No Roman gods were spelled using the Greek alphabet. Nor did any of them invent the Lava Lamp, an Etruscan innovation.

farren - Thanks for getting the joke. Most of the time, people miss the joke and somehow work their way into a page or two from their autobiographies.

Law firm during a natural disaster, wow. That’s like two disasters in the same place. What’s 10,000 dead lawyers and 5000 dead politicians? Natural causes.

At least the date wasn’t B.C.–although in A.D. 13 nobody would have known it was A.D. anything.

    That’s 766 A.U.C. for the pedantic.
