Sunset would be a terrible time to start a journey on horseback. Wouldn’t it make more sense to get a good night’s sleep and start at dawn?

I have observed the sun set into the Gulf of Mexico. You can hear a sizzling sound as it touches the water. I have also seen it rise from the Atlantic ocean. But it puzzles me how it can rise fully lit from the water, without having to take time to dry off.
