The last bunch I saw selling cookies around the corner, I told them to go down a few blocks and set up their table outside a cannabis dispensary. They would sell all their boxes in no time!!
Usually they are in front of a supermarket here. --I remember going door to door. Hated it; I was shy and this was scary to go to people’s houses and knock on doors (alone; no parent or friend with me). The homes may have been in our (large) neighborhood, but those people were still strangers to me. And I actually had doors slammed in my face (by old men, not by women, if that’s any consolation). Of course, looking at the situation from today’s perspective, I can understand why girls no longer do this. All you need is one pervert….
