The art of “peak” perfection.

When I was a kid, nobody had ever done it. Yes, I’m old.

I was 10 when Edmund Hillary reached the summit. We talked about it in school!!

Folks! It’s old & fake news that Sir Edmund Percival Hillary and Tenzing Norgay were the first who reached the summit of Mount Everest… Actually it were Laurel and Hardy and I swear they carried a “Music Box” with them all the way…

You can’t really say you climbed Mt. Everest though unless you take the stairs.

There will be a ski lift (or a series of them) before there is an elevator to take you up on the inside.

I’ll wait ’til the 23 century and beam up.

You’d still need to have supplemental oxygen.

On the other hand it would finally be easy to get all those corpsicles out of “rainbow valley”. The family of Green Boots had to spend a fortune to finally bring his body home.

I wonder how long it took to build the elevator?

Did they do anything about the trash, waste, and dead bodies near the top?

That’s a 11,000+ foot elevator ride from the Khumbu icefield.

I’ve heard you can take a helicopter about half way up. A quick selfie and your back posting on the Wi-Fi in the village pub before dark. Kind of like those ten minutes in space flights.

Yup.. those sherpas are unionising and wanting decent wages. Amazon will come to the rescue, bypass all that sherpa nonsense.. with next day delivery.
