What about scholarships? My 17 year old is in early college which means he did two years of high school and gets two free years of college and a scholarship for the rest if he scores high enough on the ACT.

Personally, I don’t think it’s the parents’ job to pay for a child’s college education. That just makes it an extension of high school—no responsibilities, no growth, no anything. College isn’t necessary to make a good living. Plus, the way the colleges are turning out socialists, I’m not even sure college is a good thing anymore.
