We had tournaments; basketball, baseball/softball, badminton, tennis, wiffleball, croquet, home run Derby (usually over someone’s house – alley to street & back), checkers, even Shuffleboard! All in the neighborhood and neighborhood against neighborhood. Man, “Wonder Years” had nothing on us!!! Don’t get me even started on board games!
