We started doing this about 6 years ago. We started with 6 baby chicks because that’s the minimum they were allowed to sell. Chicken math took over, and now we have 44 chickens (7 are roosters), 6 ducks (3 drakes and 3 hens), 4 guineas (2 cocks and 2 hens) , and 2 turkeys (1 tom and 1 hen).
