Speculating…
This is a very sad poem. The pattern in the background looks very much like one of those plastic magnifying strips that you can hold up to fine print so you can read it…but you have to get it just exactly the right distance to focus.
The center of the image seems to be writing that’s almost but not quite in focus. She wants to read the answer to what is wrong, but can’t get it into focus.
On the other hand, she seems to be outside, walking somewhere against the wind. So, a completely different take.
Hey Teresa, you OK? This is Nel, the Very Strange Geosciences Instructor. Whom you may, after all this time, not remember at all - - - but who thinks of you often and stays in touch, sorta, by reading your comic-strip diary (which is how I think of it!) as often as possible. Today’s entry makes me sad. I do hope that isn’t where you are now; but if you are, may you pop out into the sunshine soon. Hugs - Nel PS - I hope I did this right so that you see it but it doesn’t show up on the public page. And if I screwed up and it IS on the public page - what the hey, the other guys apparently care about you too.
Hey Teresa, you OK? This is Nel, the Very Strange Geosciences Instructor in the Deep South. Today’s entry makes me sad - my T-shirt from that place is getting raggedy from long use. I do hope that isn’t where you are now; but if you are, may you pop out into the sunshine soon.

It’s that evil ray in the background that has done this to you!

top half is walking along roughly above bottom half, despite gasping hole in chest area
wound goes in and down, down falling or stalking the onrush of air through dismembered memories
any part of me bites itself gruffly in vain; more holes, more light! but mantra waxes, warier
lost is not malfunction of found so much as the chivvying of blushes attuned to pulse that wearies
