That life-size Barbie that’s been making the rounds of the Internet is complete crud, and fundamentally dishonest. Its proportions are nothing like Barbie’s, and a Barbie doll would not look anything like that monstrosity if it was enlarged to over six feet tall.
The giant Barbie is disturbing, but the fact that the artist grossly over-states the situation only weakens her case. Also, am I the only one who noticed she’s given Barbie no hands? Utterly horrifying.
