Winky Dink and You As an Old Wolf, I have the distinction of having owned a Winky Dink Kit, and having used it. I can’t count how many times I saved the world with my crayons.
it seems the canal barge is referred to as a “narrow boat” and there seems to be a bit of an industry renting them out for holiday, they have them outfitted like american RV’s. All the comforts of home “at a ‘heady’ 4-6 MPH”
We’ve got to give you and Winky credit for at least trying to save the world.Lotta people have the ability to make the world a better place who don’t make the attempt. Thanks for trying.
“I hope when I’m gone……And the ages shall roll……My body will blacken…..And turn into coal……Then I’ll look from the door…..Of my heavenly home……And pity the miners….A-diggin’ my bones”…..

I’m only pretending to be dead so that my wife will realize how much that I mean to her and her relief at my still being alive will render her overcome with emotion.
Blog: Japanese legendPlease stop dreaming about me my darling. The things I do to you in those dreams have left me too tired to do them when I’m awake.
I remember this billboard from when my family took a trip to Florida (in 68). I’ve often though about it and tried to find it on the intertubs. THANK YOU! You are wonderful!
Was Winky Dink an East coast thing? and Jon Gnagy? or did we just not have TV in time for me to become aware? we didn’t get a TV until the late 50s….it seems I missed out on something fun

Whose dead anyway?Bring ‘on’ the big ideas, and put them down.

Even if you could have ideas after you died, you’d have some stiff competition.

Lotta Winky Dink memorabilia on Ebay that would set you back a whole lot more $$$ than the original kits.

On the other hand … some ideas, if they are big enough, survive death.

Here lies Marvin. Crushed under the weight of his own big idea. Too bad as it was his first and only one.

WINKY DINK AND ME too.yep, I had a Winky Dink kit too. Loved that show as a young kid. Seems like Rootie Kazootie was on in the same time frame.
Daffydowndilly, I grew up here in the Midwest so it couldn’t have been just East coast.
The Old Wolf about 12 years ago
LaffinLarry, I think you are the only other living person I am acquainted with who knows Rootie Kazootie.
