I’m surprised none of you linked to this first.

Teresa, thanks for the second link on the blog. I missed that one the first time around. One nice thing about living overseas is that you see how different cultures adapt to people with different tastes/views and yet still are culturally vibrant. Of course there are always the extremes, but it’s nice to see people more accepted than they would be in the U.S. On the second video, I loved the sudden change mid-song and the judges’ reactions.

When we lived in Olympia back in 1980, blackberries like that grew wild everywhere around our rented home. We were awash in fruit.. it was wonderful.

Follow your own star! Don’t let the Collective dictate your life. And die in isolation, unloved, unlamented, but free.

Barked?!? It must have been something that I ate.

Up here in the PNW, Himalayan blackberries along with English ivy are invasive species. While the blackberries are tasty they spread rapidly and are difficult to get rid of. And of course are a pain if you get caught up in a cane. ;-)

The kitten must be named “Sandy”.

Bilingual kittens. On a different note, how long until they put Grace the Face back in her Place.
