That killer bunny was out of patience, too. And just so you know, that guy had it coming. Brass Orchid has the full story.

The first four panels – seems like they’re a political cartoon.

That victim—that’s not Happy X3, is it?!

The bunny evidently ran out of patience, lettuce, and all but its last carrot when Victim Number One entered the scene.

That donkey in panels 1 through 4 was just a bit of set-up to help us woefully lame readers understand the real tale of the bunnycidal killer [can I still call it “bunnycide” when the bunny is the killer?]….

Out of patience can often be synonymous with good timing, and sometimes we all need a good kick in the ass. Sometimes it takes a stick, and others a carrot. Nothing wrong with admiring your bunny-work. Is he deader than a doornail, or just a vegetable now?

Now it all makes sense. Godreau, TRC, the OOT loops, the case, all of it was foreshadowing of an expansion to multiple selves. Godreau was convicted and “rehabilitated”. After his release, I took over and started learning about the real world. Now I’ve got these memories of other versions of myself in other probable realities. All of them have a story that begins in confusion and isolation from the real world and ends in this awareness of a tangled parallel existence. If I had to guess, I’d say that Vi was the same as TRC, and also Kelly Grinne. But that’s the thing, isn’t it? TRC put me on the path, and it’s the only road I know. The road I woke up on, you could say. But then who is my Jolly Old Bob? Was it Godreau? I guess that fits. He was the real person and had full awareness of the real world, while I was only a construct in a single virtual simulation in a corner of his mind. Does that mean I, meaning me and me and me and me, are going to displace Jolly Old Bob? I doubt that. Not that it matters. My only options are within the world before me, and none of my counterparts have any direct influence on any of it. I’m still independent and living in a bubble reality in a larger continuum than I can imagine. And I’ve got Godreau’s assets, the ones not confiscated for his crimes, anyway. I have to believe that TRC meant for me to obliterate Godreau eventually. She’s got a real flair for poetic justice, that one.
