Shh now! We don’t want these busybodies to know what we do in our spare time, in the privacy of our own home! I mean, getting that dispensation to get married in the church was hard enough — you know they’ll use any excuse…
Speaking of lame, the landing page for Frog Applause (before you click on the comic preview to reveal the entire comic) advertises that you might also like “Sheldon” by Dave Kellett.
Those holes punched in the coupons make them look just like the data punch cards used to enter data and code in the early days of widespread commercial computer use. Like mid-to-late ‘70s. The coupons would have to have been printed on heavier paper stock than usual, and also that retailers were keeping track of redemption. Another possibility is that the cards were simply spindled, or punched, to cancel them because they’d already been redeemed. … That’s all I got.
Honestly, I first read yesterday Blog post as “A Wife’s Massage.” I apologize for my PG-13 rated misreading. Although I was particularly impressed by the handsome rendering of Mrs. Margaret Anderson’s face (which no doubt was equally handsome in real life): she was “The Noble Woman who is Hated by the Whiskey Trust.” Ah, the heady days of the Temperance Crusade.
Reminds me of Robbit: A Tale of Tails (1948), a childhood fave (and I still have it, stashed in a closet with a bunch of other books from When We Were Young)….

…after Ariel left the undersea kingdom to become human…
…it became the rage …
…and everyone did it…
…alas, you can take the human out of the fish…

…so, naturally…
…they all gravitated towards school…
…and since it was a Catholic school…
…{Jesus multiplied the fishes}…
…the nun said to the class…
…We are all part of the school…
…some of us are eyes…
…some of us a gills…
…what are each of you?…
..after some in the class gave the obvious answers…
…fin!…
…teeth…
…belly…
…little Nimo answered..
…I’m the caudel peduncle…
…no one knows what my function is…
…no one even knows why I’m here…
…but I can be a real pain when I want to be…
…the nurse corrected little Nimo…

Teresa,
Make the the singer of the breastmilk song sound more like Gordon Lightfoot and I’d buy it on Apple Music.
(but I won’t represent you when you get sued by the Gordon Lightfoot Estate)
