Yes Garfield, it can sink lower, MUCH lower. Gets worse and worse every year. In 1999, Family Guy was still funny, Simpsons was still somewhat funny (in my opinion, it went downhill after Season 8) History/Discovery/Biography/TLC ONLY aired factual programming, and kid’s shows (many of which, the writers were also producing Simpsons and Family Guy episodes) pushed the limits to where even myself, as an adult am just now understanding (I’ve started watching a lot of old shows through streaming, and the contemporary live-action shows of the era weren’t bad. Seems humor of any kind, except for political satire (which seems the writers overuse these days), seems like a faux pas.
Heck, 99% of the television I watch is old shows through streaming.
