That’s not the first time the statement in the last panel has been said.

There is only one way in this world to comprehend women. Unfortunately, no one ever knows what it is.

Nerdy, outdated, and overdone, in that order.

And then understated, so as not to compete with Liz’ dress…so what else is new? :))

The last panel may say nothing new either, but it’s certainly good (and funny) to have a reminder now and again!

(Psst! Women say we’re just as incomprehensible to them, so we’re even…)

All Jon needs to understand is that he needs Liz.. And he REALLY needs her in this area!

Men are just so one track and uncomplicated that we women can’t believe that is how it is…we keep trying to make men just like us.

thats why the incomprehensible - to simple. (NOT dumb, just not convoluted)

Sorry but the last outfit doesn’t match! A yellow tie with a light blue shirt? Give him a navy tie.

A woman does not want her man more eye-catching than she is. Jon has to learn not to try too hard.

bout time someone culls Jon’s wardrobe….there are a few outfits that need to be put out of our…err their misery….

Tie, shmie. I hate those decorative nooses. I tell my hubby to take it off as soon as we get out of church. (It’s not like he HAS to wear them there. He just prefers to. Go fig.)

Welcome to the club Jon, we aren’t suppose to understand them, we’re guys. We’re just suppose to love them & that’s a whole lot better then the alternitave.

Jon should have Liz put away those wax lips!

TIME-LAPSE! This can only be the answer to how this whole funny was made to fit in just 7 panels… Not counting the headliner.

I understand all women completely, it’s easy really, you just need to get one fact about them all lodged firmly in you brain and then it all fits perfectly into place, and that nugget of ultimate wisdom is:

All women are nuts!!!

So once you understand that women just don’t make any sense at all you can go through the rest of your life knowing that instead of saying ‘I don’t understand women’, you can now say instead ‘I understand that women are nuts’, simple really ;)

JK girls… or am I… Freud once said…. ;)

The last outfit (the one Liz likes) makes Jon look like an office worker; maybe with Dilbert.

The one before that makes him look like he’s going [back] to his high school prom.

Jon, get used to that causal shirt and necktie you wear that makes Liz HAPPY!

It’s been that way for a lot longer than that Mr Doty.

It’s not all that complicated. The shirt & tie was better than the 60’s, 70’s, & 80’s choices you just gave her.

Macushlalondra: Think of the sun on a clear day. Blue and Yellow are complimentary. The yellow adds pop, navy would just be boring.

I’m inclined to agree with Macushlalondra about the tie, but it depends upon the wearer to some extent, the yellow might work better with a darker blue shirt tho’

I prefer understated to peacock any day.

All women are nuts? I guess we are to the male mind. Just remember that men are just as incomprehensible to us as we are to them. They prefer football to chocolate. Go figure!

As a female we prefer the men to dress less because either it’s that we want the attention or it makes you look like a actual human and not a popstar
