Better get a hold of Charles Atlas’s bodybuilding company Jon.

Jon can be buried in sand with kick. Who needs a shovel.

I knew that was going to happen, I just knew it.

Jon just needs to crotch punch him and it’ll all be over except for spitting out the sand.

Jon, do not worry. You are in safe hands.

After that many steroids, there’s usually not much crotch left to punch

only takes a week to get in shape and get even….

Liz’s answer says it all. Obviously she’s not impressed by a over-muscled lout and likes John for who and what he is.

I agree with that. But it’s nice that they have an actual plot going on this week. The strip has been dull the past few weeks before. This livens it up a bit.

Interesting that Garfield takes Jon’s side and still manages to insult him as usual. This is going to be one weird triad if Jon and Liz get married.

Perhaps Jon could find a crab & put its claw on that guy’s privates.

Liz is an intelligent professional who went to college for 8 years to get where she is. Why in the world would she fall for an overmuscled, underbrained bully?

Time to send in that little coupon in the comic book, Jon. I know in real life it may take years to build your body, but in the comics you can do it by the next panel.

I did that when I was a kid and was really skinny. There was the ad for Super weight gain #7 ( or something like that ) I saved up $15 and ordered it with the idea that , like the skinny guy in the ad, all I would have to do was drink this stuff for 14 days and I would have a super developed body. The ad never said anything about hours of exercise, etc. Needless to say, it didn’t work. I wasn’t the brightest star in the sky when I was a kid, but that was dumb even for me. What a crushing disappointment.

I remember the Charles Atlas adds in the comics, but I figgered they haven’t ran those in 40 years.

Having seen what Garfield can do with his claws, I’d recommend that “Rolf” be careful. Garfield is an expert at shredding.

If Rolf is on steroids those claws should let the hot air out of him
