Garfield, you should always have a lifeguard. Never swim alone.
Really, though, I thought that one of this series of strips was going to have a whistle blowing, pull back into a wide view of one of the mice with a little lifeguard chair, maybe with sun hat and raybans and maybe the David Hasselhoff red trunks.

Jon was sitting there a minute ago. Wonder where he disappeared to?

Why the sour face Garfield? Dogies need to cool-off too!
pamlicorat about 14 years ago
I think the dog is sitting on Jon’s head.

If he’s a guard dog, then I guess he’d be guarding that side of the pool. Though from what is another question.

I love the look of this dog character, whenever he’s in the comic. He looks like he just wants to have fun in life, no matter what.

That must be a long chain…

To me, a kid’s wading pool is deep enough!

Siting with the dog is funnier than sitting with Jon.
After all, give the dog a “break”.
lin4869 about 14 years ago
pamlicorat, that’s probably why the dog didn’t sink in the deep end of the pool. :-D
