Nothing wrong with that. I’m not afraid of them but at my last job there was one place at the job site that I almost always had to go out to a couple times a day and due to the wash rack on one side, the back of the plant on a second and a shed on the third turned the area into a dead end. I went to check on the pumps there, turned to go out, turned around and saw this bright green dragonfly about the size of an attack chopper hovering a foot from my face. Needless to say I jumped back about two feet.
I used to have a spider phobia, even though I know they’re beneficial. I’ve gotten better over the years, though, and try to catch them in a jar for release outside. Dragonflies I like and we’re lucky to have them around because our neighbors have a pond.
