Jon: I bought you some chocolates, Liz.
Liz: Why, thank you, Jon.
Jon: Would you like to smell them on Garfield's breath?
Liz: No, thank you, Jon.
Garfield: Come on, take a whiff. They were great!
@William. Years ago a friend and I did that years ago. I was still at Burger King and there was this High school kid that worked there on weekends and certain evenings. WHat he was always doing is was sneaking everyone elses candy that they bought from the store. I had made friends with another High school girl and her mother who was my neighbors (she was cashier). What we did was we bought one of those big hershey bars and a big ex-lax bars. We took the hershey bar wrapper and the inside fiol and replaced the hershey bar with the ex-lax bar. We then put the fake hershey bar on the table and while we were eating the hershey bar he saw the ex-lax bar with the hershey bar wrapper on the table. He asked “Can I have some?” We said sure its your birthday present. His birthday happened to be April Fools day (April 1st here in the US.) So he took it and took 4 squares (!) of the bar and he said Thanks. He was also a domwit on top of that and didnt notice the different taste. So anyways 10 minutes later he raced past me and almost knocking me over (which is a feat since I was twice his weight. He was in that mens room over an hour. A coustomer later on asked if a cat or dog died in there. I said "NO someone got sick and we are waiting for the cleaning people to come clean it up. SInce he was the only coustomer (and last) he was able to use the ladies room after the one girl made sure no one was in there. It affectet him so much he stayed home the next day. After that the kid never took anyones candy bars after that because we told him if he did it might be another Ex-Lax bar. That took care of that problem. By the next Monday everyone knew about it. Gee I wonder who told. (Rolls eyes upward)
maybe liz can see her purse that garfield ate a few years ago and liz used to be very suprized when garfield did stuff like that and why does jon tell liz stuff like that if garfield has eaten it?
Yeah chocolate is supposedly lethal to cats and dogs, but my Mom told me they constantly fed their dog “Tinkerbell” chocolate. I’ve heard grapes (and raisins), tomatoes, and onions/garlic are lethal to both as well.

That’s funny & maddening at the same time. Jon needs to grow a pair & show that cat the door.
