I remember a Sunday “Garfield” (early or mid-90s) where Garfield gave a guard dog with a sore throat a home remedy to get the dog barking again: soak a towel in ice water and slap the dog in the face with it! (The dog was barking again like new in the end.)
When I was little, it was Luden’s Wild Cherry drops. Didn’t do much for the throat, and I’m sure they didn’t help the teeth either!I don’t even know if they are still around.For our kids (not as babies) it was always warm honey & lemon. Even works for the mrs & me today…
