Jon should be glad that he’s not a Great Dane.

He’ll have a mouthful of cat hair when he gets up.

My cat likes to do this when I’m laying on top of the covers barechested so he can sink his claws into me for balance.

My neighbor loses sleep because one of her cats will purr with contentment above and in contact with her head.

Could be worse, Jon. My daughters’ cat would lie between my pillow and headboard and then fart!!!

My Yum-Yum does this if she feels we have been sleeping too long.

One of my calicos will get me up at 4am for her morning attention by prancing on my bladder until she has my full attention. She waits in the warm spot then makes sure she gets at least a half hour affection before letting me return to sleep.

I’m hoping Garfield didn’t go rogue!

Anyone who has a cat knows this is the way it is! My daughter’s cat drapes himself across her neck. I lost my sweet orange tabby last fall, I still feel him jump onto the bed in the mornings. Ghost cat?

Every night when i go to sleep my cat will sleep either on me or next to me & in the morning if i’m not up by 9 she will wake me up by purring loudly & licking my face until i’m out of the bed.

I HAve had cat on my chest before when I woke up but not on my head

I had a kitty who slept on my chest for almost 19 years. Funny thing, but it feels heavier now that he’s no longer there.

gag, choke, puke…

My ex-boyfriend’s cat used to just meow loudly, then jump up onto the bed and stomp all over it in order to wake my ex-boyfriend up. It was better for him than an alarm clock!

Nothing like waking up to a cat butt in your face either. Tail down of course but still an unpleasant wake up.

Is it just me or does this look more like “classic” Garfield. Garfield walking on all fours and without the disproportionally large back feet.

My cats sometimes like to curl up on my hip… other times, they sleep on the mattress beside my head. Maybe it’s because I sleep on my side rather than my back.

This strip would look good with the previous versions of Garfield.

If a cat did this to me, I would sneeze so hard I’d blow him across the room!

This is why the only cat I’ll ever love is the one in this comic strip.
