My husband and I spent 2 years living in a rooming house. One of the other tenants (I’ll call C) was infamous for this. She was constantly stealing food. She even ate an entire pan of sauce that was meant for the whole house & denied it. One time I bought a fried chicken TV dinner, and when I went to have it, I noticed that the box was carefully opened and the chicken removed. I immediately asked C, and she blamed another tenant, who was mentally disabled and didn’t have the finesse to open the box in such a way to make it NOT look opened.
I lived in a boarding house for about three years, there were 2 fridges in the shared kitchen plus cupboard space. I kept my food in the kitchen fridges and cupboards for the first few months and for a long time I thought I was just getting forgetful when food disapeared. On one shopping trip I bought a package of lunch meat because I thought I was out, but when I got home I found out that I still had almost a full package in the fridge, no problem since the new package would still be good long after I finished using it for my lunches. The next day I went to make my lunch and both packages of lunch meat were gone. Another time I checked my oatmeal to see if I needed more, since I had enough for one more breakfast (I only made oatmeal once a week) I decided to wait a week before picking up more. When I got home from shopping I noticed that someone had spilled a little oatmeal on the stove, with a sudden suspicion I checked my oatmeal box and found it empty (the thief had put the empty box back in the cupboard). That’s when I grabbed all my food from the communal kitchen and started keeping it in my room (I bought a mini fridge from a friend a coupld days later and moved everything from the fridge then).

On second thoughts, make that two pizzas. After all, if it was only one pizza, what would everyone else eat?

Doesn’t that computer seem a bit small for all of them to be watching several feet away from a couch?
