Lasagna noodles are made from semolina flour – technically a vegetable. Tomatoes for the lasagna sauce are likewise vegetables (technically fruit, but classified as vegetables). Mushrooms for lasagna may be considered vegetable (ie plants)

Random fact (which may or may not be of interest, feel free to ignore me):Fungi are not classed as plants, nor are they classed as animals. They have their own class.Life has three known classes: Flora (plants), Fauna (animals) and Mycota (fungi).

As a child, the only veggie I would eat was corn. I was so upset later to find out that it’s actually a grain.

    French fries is a veggie.

My doc told me to eat more healthy stuff. I said, “You mean like lettuce, brussels sprouts, spinach and stuff”. He said, “Exactly so”. I said, “That ain’t food, that’s what food eats to become food. You feed that to the cow and I’ll eat a healthy beef steak”.

I’m surprised he didn’t say cucumbers. That was the only vegetable I ate for a long time as a kid

Hopefully, Garfield has eaten so much junk over the years that he has become tolerant to foods like onion rings, which normally would make a cat puke.
