What I am wondering - If Gertie finds true love with Earl - and they end up getting married - will Earl move in with Gertie and help take care of Walt? OR - will Gertie go on the road with Earl and Earl’s band - and Walt will need to find someone else to look after him? Either way - I think it means new characters being added to the strip - permanently! But - as someone mentioned the other day - why focus on so many of the OTHER characters when Walt and Walt’s family are the heart and soul which have ALWAYS made this strip sing?
Interesting, Deborah Reyes, maybe change is in the cards… although I’d liek to see the old Wallet family, I’m enjoying the way Jim has given us a fresh situation lately.
