Sunday comics are usually designed so a newspaper has the option of including the first panel or not.

At least Rev. Peacegood will have a TV when he arrives. Thank goodness it wasn’t already in Upton’s stolen car.

The power outage reminds me so much of a former town we lived in. Even with no storm. We had a lot of power outages. Even during the day. Depends on the weather condintions. Maybe God is talking to them about their evil ways and want them to change.

Wow, what a great strip! What gorgeous drawings (at least the 1st two panels). I like the 3-dimensional nature of the 1st panel, with the rain, then the window, then Upton, and finally Ramona in the background.

Would I rather watch TV or be alone with Ramona in the dark???

Ramona is not dumb. She has ideas about what might happen as they sit in the dark in front of the dark TV.

They can watch a TV with nothing on it. Probably wouldn’t be very entertaining to the average person, but these two will be delighted.
