This is ironic…my clothes shrunk in the same mysterious manner when I was in Vegas last week. Must be the dry desert air sucking the moisture out of the fabric…
I don’t know I saw my dad army paper’s what he weighed back then compared to what he weighed at that current time then his current age and I can’t imagine him weighing more back then. My own mom weighs less now then when she was in her 20’s. Me I had to get rid of my old clothes I’m way to heavy for them and had to up the sizes. I do eat right and get exercise but not to the extreme. I didn’t inherent losing weight from them :(. My dad was very skinny 134 to 132 about 5”9. He has been gone for 10 years.
I went into the Army at 155. As Hdqr. Supply Clerk we took care of the cooks and they took care of us. Came out a short time later at 190. Went back to work and thought it would kill me. Lost 30 # in 60 days. That was 53 years ago. Now right at 150, but some of the sand has shifted. Gravity can sometimes be very cruel.

Seems to happen to a lot of us. Maybe someone should invent some kind of anti-shrink spray for our clothes so they don’t shrink!

well, the failure of button to reach button hole by more than a couple of inches should speak volumes
