Couldn’t he just rent a military uniform? Or the Neenster could whip one up from a green… well, something green.
But I still like my Ed the Sock idea best. US Army Staff Sergeant Ed the Sock. Or maybe Topo Gigio the talking mouse. Clever, viable gimmick, there ya go.
@Ludwig: I just confirmed my hunch with my unabridged dictionary. The conjugation of “shrink” is either “shrink, shrank, shrunk” or “shrink, shrunk, shrunk.” So what she said is correct.
Dypak, I thought that you’re “squawking chicken” remark more as an analogy.
I was a Specialist E-6 upon discharge and do not feel insulted over a remark about an arm patch at all. I can’t understand why anyone would be such a crybaby about it.
I was in the 1st SF back then, and we called the 101st the Pukin’ Buzzards or Chickens instead of Screaming Eagles, but there was no disrespect intended - just a bit of rivalry.

Face it, Skeezix you are not going to be wearing that uniform. Better find something else to wear.
