Volume 4 of Walt & Skeezix is now out. It’s just as wonderful as the first three. Highly recommended to all of the GA gang. One curious note: As many of you know, the original characters in GA were modeled after real people (Walt being Frank King’s brother-in-law, etc.). In this volume, it’s revealed that the wife of Bill Gannon (model for character Bill in the strip) was named…Gertie (ominous music swells here).
I’m thankful that dentistry has advanced to the point where many of us won’t have to deal with full dentures…although in order to do so many of us are taking extraordinary steps! For example, I’m currently wearing braces in my 40s AND getting ready for an implant in about a year. I’ve already started referring to my mouth as “my Lexus.”
