The joke will probably be that he is really seeing these animals.

Walt’s house appears to be real cool, especially that turret-roof front porch. They just don’t make them like that anymore. Too bad.

When they began this storyline, it looked as if Walt might have been heading to the Old Comics Home, but now it’s looking like his meds are the problem.

I’m of the minority opinion that the animals are real.

If I had to guess, I’d say it’s all because of Slim. He was probably asked to help out at the zoo, and we all know what happens when Slim helps out!

Yes… and I’ll bet Slim somehow caused the Gulf oil spill too!

I bet Jim could draw a great Tarzan… and Jane, too.

Especially Jane. Would like to see what he could do with Daisy May.

I’m guessing that we now know who GA’s bordering comic strips are - The Phantom, Tarzan, maybe Mark Trail, maybe even Alley Oop (or was he a caveman?)

I had a headache in ‘Nam. Someone gave me a pill, said it help my head. Similar experience as Uncle Walt. And, no, life is completely different now.

jackdohany about the sever oil spill in the gulf. I wonder if taxpayers or more what we pay at the pumps will still be effected. I know the President says not that BP takes responsibility over this and our local paper repeats what it gets from Washington but I have my doubts for the oil spilling is growing more and costing more. And I don’t live anywhere near there.

I do hope Gertie is listening and making an appointment with the Dr. for Walt sake. All is not right.

I’ve said from the get-go and still believe that they’re real and just escaped from some kind of bird (or now possibly erotic animal) sanctuary.

Hang in there, Unca Walt! I believe you.

If not, I think we should sneak into Walt’s house and “borrow” his meds. ☺

I hope uncle Walt goes on forever. I miss his wife, Phyllis, who passed away a few years ago. (Also, whatever happened to old Avery?)

I think Walt now realizes he is halucinating and that can be frighteneing. If they were real, why would Gertie never see them or hear them?
