That shoe should have taken a higher bounce right between Slim’s eyes!

If you didn’t marry him for his wit, Clovia, what did you marry him for? His athletic prowess?

Of course, the great irony is that no one talking about Wallet history is actually a blood relation to the Wallets.

OK, lets get back to reality here and check in on them Pye boys in that old crashed school bus.

Here we go again, the strip is trashing Slim. Beneath that distinctive exterior is some real talent. He just needs a cartoonist/artist willing to give him a break.

I think it’s cute how the horseshoe bounces into the next panel.

In my mind Jim remains one of the best to ever draw Gasoline Alley! As such, I will never understand why some follow this strip only to spew forth negative comments. Maybe that is the reason, today; Jim has the horse’s butt pointing in your direction.

Well, I do think that Jim’s artistic abilities far outstrip his writing, but I agree with you, post399. Some criticism is acceptable, but not day after whining day of how awful everything about the strip is. If GA truly makes you that unhappy, why not just go to a different strip?

davidf42, I liked the bouncing shoe, too– very clever composition, like a film-scene transition!

Mineola, is your moniker related to a town in Texas?
