Enough already :-( This comic strip is becoming mean…Clovia has turned in to a shrew and the rest of the characters are missing in action for months now. Is someone new doing this strip? Sure doesn’t seem like the style of comics we’ve known and loved for so long. About fed up :-(
I have mixed emotions about this. I was enjoying the story until Clovia started to threaten to dissolve their marriage. But I also remember that when Slim and Clovia were dating, it was an on-again, off-again type of romance. You’d expect their marriage to turn out this way.
i’m mixed. Slim has it coming. If Clovis knew what he was like when she married him then it isn’t all his fault for being himself. I would find it hard to turn away family, especially my mother and I forget a lot of things, but his last statements put him on the Duh list.
@scuttlebutt99, re your comment 12/28, when I said Scancarelli couldn’t be blamed for Slim’s behavior, I wasn’t referring to how the current story is going, which certainly is irritating. What I meant is Slim’s basic character was established before Scancarelli took over the strip.
Am beginning to think a lot of the comic writers have been working with the SHORT SALE house people. If you are now or soon will be involved in a used home, you will know what I am talking about.

But who will do the work at the garage?
Let’s get on with a new story, all right? This has gotten old (a long time ago)

The three of them will blunder into whomever is stealing the cars and everything will turn out okay. You read it here first.
