Seems to be building suspense for readers trying to figure out who this guy is. LOL. I hope we have a fresh story line, but I’m expecting him to be related to Slim and Clovia…just watch!
I enjoy all of these stories we’ve been reading, it’s a comic strip, so I expect the characters to be comic, and not serious. And I’ve been getting that. Don’t know why people complain, we’re lucky to have this strip, and it’s always fun. This storyline is just starting out, it might turn out to be the funniest ever, ya never know! :)
I enjoy Jim’s work too. It’s not the same as the old Gasoline Alley, but it’s still enjoyable and the stories move along at a more or less reasonable pace. Not like Alley Oop by any means.
How about another visit by slim to the cemetary? Those ephtaphs are funny. I like this one in Tombstone, AZ Here lies Lester Moore, shot dead with a forty-four. No less, no more.
