You can buy a DVD player for about $30. Sometimes at yard sales for $10. The amazing thing is that it’s not a VCR he’s looking to get replaced.

This guy is Frank Nelson but his sarcastic act reminds me of Gale Gordon too.
Trapper, no, I think he’s just reusing a plot device. Skeezix went through a similar thing with his washer a couple months ago. Frank Cho stopped doing the “Liberty Meadows” comic strip in 2001, so those are all reruns.
How about we just buy him a DVD player? I’ve got $20, that should cover half of it.
