Great! A new storyline with a “different” character for a change.

Hope she’s a better cook than he is. (She couldn’t be any worse, could she?)

Here’s a point of trivia: Gretchen was the name of Dick Moores’ wife.

    She’s a 35-year-old boomerang baby (born Apr. 13, 1978).

Good call Michyle. Clovia is 64, close to retirement age. Jim has to deal with the ownership of Gasoline Alley Garage pretty soon. It seems the introduction of Gretchen back into the story line might answer the question of ownership in the garage after Clovia moves on.

Maybe Clovia invited her to work at the garage.

“welll if walt can live to be like 110 years old or more slim can live to be 100 tooand run the garage until hes 80+”>Slim doesn’t run the garage now. Clovia does. Anyway Walt is the only one who is immortal. The syndicate won’t allow him to die. Everyone else is expendable.

Uncle Walt can be kept “alive” by having him interact with characters in the Old Toon Home, many of whom will be former characters of this strip. They can have a life in the afterlife.

Yes, it has happened for 30 somethings returning home. OK she is an “old” maid but so was Aunt Judy before she married then divorced Gideon. Perhaps Clovia and Slim could retire and have Gretchen take over the Garage.

Glad to see you too! Not so sure about your Boyfriends, though. How are you with a paintbrush?

Gideon and Judy are divorced? When? How did Nubbin, Adam, and Eve take the news?

Yes. Back in the early 2000s Jim indicated Judy and Gideon divorced. Nubbin , Adam and Eve are all children of Corky. Judy had only one son named Gabriel who we also haven’t seen or heard of for decades!!
