My boss used to vacation in Vegas every year. He would take $1200 in cash to gamble, and the casinos would pay for airfare, hotel, and meals. He would stay until the gambling money was gone, or his vacation time was up. His favorite game was poker, and he was really good at it. A few times, he came home with more than the $1200 he started with.
I was impressed because it was an example of responsible gambling – treating it as an entertainment expense, rather than potention income. As an expense, gambling is a fine form of entertainment (not for me though). As an “investment”, it is the height of stupidity.

Is it too much to hope that Lil and Chubby are killed in an armed holdup at the service station?

I grow weary of these characters’ repeated appearances.

The plan might be for Slim to go and Colvia to stay. Then maybe they will leave and go to Vegas, too.

Nothing a good, “Get lost you lazy deadbeats or I’ll call the cops”, wouldn’t fix.

What’s wrong with Las Vegas? It’s about 10 minutes North on the 515 from here.
