    Here is my no. 4: have him retire to the comics home where he meets up with Phyllis. The comics home; a heaven for comic characters. Just have him move there. No death scene.

    There was an agreement with all artists of GA with Frank King that Walt is to remain alive until Skeezix turns 100. The strip turns 100 in 2018.
