“Make fun of the Orphan, you get The Asp!”
Not “Little” Orphan Annie, just Orphan Annie — ’cause she grew up I guess.
This feels familiar …
Roast Orphan Annie, and the goblins’ll getcha if ya don’t watch out!
This oughta be good!
Daddy Warbucks will get pretty angry.
There are only so many jokes about having no pupils, and Annie has already heard them all.
He can talk about how they’re the same age, but SHE still hasn’t hit puberty!
Leapin’ Lizards!
“Little Annie Funny?” Why does that sound familiar…?
Annie will get the last laugh, Walt. There’s never been a successful “Gasoline Alley” Broadway musical.
Walt can say hello to that young feller Mr. Am!
That might be interesting since it was a strip focused on Harold Gray’s Rugged Individualism: i.e. “Mind your own business and skin your own skunks.”
Would have made a great version of Jonny Quest only it was Annie and her father and Punjab with The Asp. Done in the original way JQ had been done music, sound effects, art style and all.
