I don’t believe I’ve ever seen Skeezix in such a dither. The excitement is building ! LOL !

Gertie doesn’t seem particularly concerned.

When are they going to tell us what is going on? The suspense is a killer!

Come on already, my heart can’t take much more of this.

Is the strip ending?

Maybe they are going to introduce a new artist.

What could it be? The end of the comic strip in a few weeks? Stay tuned…

Skeezix has always called Walt “Uncle Walt,” although Walt is, in fact, Skeezix’s adoptive father.

We still don’t know what the shocking news in Gasoline Alley is, but we’ve heard characters talking a lot about how shocking and disturbing it is, and now Walt is going on a hunger strike, so I’m assuming it’s something like “LOCAL VET OF WORLD WAR I STILL ALIVE, GOVERNMENT SCIENTISTS AIM TO HARVEST HIS BLOOD TO CREATE IMMORTALITY SERUM”

They are changeing the name of the strip to RUfus and Joel….

Remember “the big tease” when Phyllis died—-for a month we didn’t see Walt and everybody thought it was him.

We’re doing THAT again.Old Miser Pert was Clovia&Slim’s landlord for many years, don’t know who owns the building now.Sure isn’t them.

And, after we see 10,349 people reacting to the news, we finally find out what the news is!

It has been announced that the Gasoline Alley strip will end on March 30, 2024. Since it was I who announced it, into an empty room, I wouldn’t give this announcement much credibility.

Maybe it will end on Feb. 30th…
