GATURRO: Cool! Panel 1 – G. says something like, “Let’s see if I can get it out.” Panel 6- “Every so often a joke in English is cool.”

JUDGE PARKER: Sophie says %*@#! Apparently she is really upset with Derek.

CRANKSHAFT: Is that a painting or an aquarium window?

PHANTOM: This should be an interesting conversation…especially if Orson Burley brings up putting the “mythical” P. on a postage stamp.

    Gaturro – Thanks, Florchi!

Mandrake – I bet it turns out to be someone the reader doesn’t even know.

Judge Parker – That’s a pretty expensive guitar she’s swinging around there.

Crankshaft – Florchi, I was wondering the same thing.

Crankshaft – Monet did paint a huge triptych like this. Each piece is owned by a different museum. Recently they have been reunited and are spending some time in each museum. I saw them at the Nelson-Atkins Museum in Kansas City several years ago. Except for their size, they are not particularly impressive.

Judge Parker – I think Sophie’s anger is more generalized, growing out of her time in captivity.

Mary Worth – Some might view Iris and Dawn as both being in inappropriate relationships, though the age difference is not so great between Dawn and Harlan and she may not be in his class this semester.

Rex Morgan – The PSA continues.

The three museum’s that own the panels are in Kansas City, St. Louis, and Cleveland. I believe Crankshaft is located in or near Cleveland. They shouldn’t be so blue, but that’s on Batiuk or the colorist.
