GATURRO: Templo asks if an English translation is necessary today. I’m not sure…it looks to me that G. didn’t so much as get crossed with a hippo as cross paths with a hippo (and get flattened). After the “And me?” in panel 1, I am not sure of the complete translation…
PHANTOM: Did we ever find out why Burley wanted his brief case after he was already in his pajamas? I am beginning to think he is going to back off the stamp idea without ever actually seeing The Phantom. I’m hoping woodworker will be back to comment, soon.
MARK TRAIL: Oh oh. He has an agenda. Is this story going to stay in Africa with Lee, or is it going to “go home” with Chris?

MARY WORTH: A lot of the comments at CK are snarky, but my comment is “Cool! I love seeing an album ‘photo’ of the young MW!”
REX MORGAN: If this is what I think it is, I saw it coming (panel 3, yesterday). It’s actually a good ending to a good and very long life with a recent uplifting experience to cap it all off. We should all be so lucky. RIP, Hank Sr. I think I’ll hope over to the Comics Curmudgeon and see what Josh has to say on this one (joshreads.com).
Mary Worth – My prediction late yesterday was correct! I’m glad to see these early photos and hope we get some more history. When I first read this strip, a loooong time ago, Mary was caring for two grandchildren. I wonder what happened to her them. The history will probably be re-written.
Rex Morgan – I fully agree with Florchi’s comment. RIP, Hank, Sr.
Rex Morgan I saw Josh’s comment on Rex Morgan as well. As Florchi said: worth the hop.
Mark Trail 3 guesses who “Dirty” is going to hunt. And to answer Florchi’s question, I believe the story will stay with “Dirty”.
Mary Worth The album photos have Mary as a young woman in the 70’s. That doesn’t quite jibe with the fact that she’s been around since the depression in the 30’s.

FLORCHI is correct in her interpretation. In panel 1, Gaturro wondered with whom can he cross with. In the last panel, he crossed path with a hipo.
