This is why its a good idea to shop around every few years. When I refinanced my home last year to a lower rate shorter term mortgage the bank suggested I check my homeowners insurance. Changed from an independent agent to one of the major carriers and cut my rate in half. Also lowered my car ins by around 30%.

Also love the greeting. The way things are going in a few years will have to wait 5 minutes to cycle through all the language options.

How timely is THIS one today? Regence nearly doubled this year’s health insurance premium for me and my wife. Bye-bye to them.

Which is why you have to change yearly. They will offer “teaser” rates to get your business, then raise them every time they need to be renewed. So, every time they go up, go find a better “teaser” rate. Same for car, home and health insurance.

That situation is exactly what ACA is designed to prevent the insurance companies from doing. You need to read the bill and stop getting your information from biased second hand sources AKA Fox.
