When there was not enough left to justify paying ~$20 I bought a set of clippers and do my own as well. They say the difference between a good haircut and a bad one is about a week, so I figure if I cut it every other week the odds are with me.
One of the inexpensive things in the Philippines are men’s haircuts. I’ve found a place within walking distance of where I live that charges 100 pesos for a GOOD cut, which is equivalent to about $2. Lots of SMH moments here (especially now that election season has arrived along with its own special brand of crazy), but you can’t beat the prices.

There’s nothing in his head to get in the way.

Not really funny. My barber son-in-law cuts his own hair and it looks great.

I started cutting mine several years ago. Being nearly bald makes it easy.

I always heard to pick the barber with the worst haircut because they cut each others hair.
