In the Navy, if you’re at sea, you can get your hair cut for free. I was on a ship large enough to have someone who supposedly knew how to cut hair. He was cutting my hair once, stopped, and then yelled up a ladder, “hey, come here a minute and show me how to fix this”.

I got a very short haircut that time.
